Cannes Film Market 2009
In parallel to the Festival de Cannes (Cannes Film Festival), the Marché du Film (Cannes Film Market) has become a platform for exchanges between professionals from all around the world. Each year, producers, international sellers, distributors and financiers meet up in Cannes to form partnerships for tomorrow’s films. The Film Market also gives great visibility to participants present through a slate of services such as meetings, exhibition spaces and screenings.
As part of MDA's continuing efforts to assist Singapore-based media companies to gain international exposure and recognition in the international market, reach out to an international clientele and venture into the international film market place, MDA will be collaborating with AIPRO (The Association of Independent Television Production Companies) to lead a Singapore Pavilion at Marche du Film also known as Cannes Film Market (CFF) from 13 to 22 May 2009 at Palais de Festivals, Cannes, France.
