Cannes Film Market
The Media Development Authority (MDA) will be leading Singapore’s seventh expedition to the Cannes Film Market in Cannes, France, from 12 to 21 May. Singapore-based film industry players will showcase their capabilities and projects under the Singapore Pavilion.

Taking place alongside the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, the annual Cannes Film Market is the first international market dedicated entirely to film industry professionals. This event provides film buyers, distributors and producers from around the world with opportunities to network, develop projects, and establish partnerships and co-productions.

BroadcastAsia 2010
BroadcastAsia is set to return for its 15th year as Asia’s largest digital media and broadcasting trade event. The event will be held from 15 to 18 June at the Singapore Expo alongside two other events, InteractiveDME and CommunicAsia.

Last year’s event attracted some 9,500 industry professionals from over 90 countries and regions as well as over 600 exhibitors from 42 countries. This year, BroadcastAsia 2010 will continue to provide a key platform for exhibitors and buyers to convene over the latest digital multimedia and entertainment technologies and solutions. Industry professionals will have opportunities to network, form alliances and make deals.

Broadcasting experts will also share their insights at the BroadcastAsia 2010 International Conference. BroadcastAsia 2010 will be hosted by the Media Development Authority and the Infocomm Development Authority (MDA). This year, MDA will be spearheading a Singapore Pavilion at BroadcastAsia with a Jewel Showcase of cutting-edge technology.
