Stormworld Launches at MIPTV

Kids' live-action series involved Australian-Canadian co-production as well as Singaporean talents, locations, services and investments through the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA).

Daro Film Distribution launched Stormworld, a new Australian-Canadian kids' live-action series, with Singapore participation, at the annual MIPTV show in Cannes, France yesterday.

The series features principal photography in the far north-west of Western Australia, as well as on-location shooting and post-production in Perth, Adelaide, Singapore and Vancouver.

Pierre-André Rochat, President of Daro, describes Stormword as an exciting live-action kids' drama series that features a strong international cast and primetime production values.

Dr Christopher Chia, MDA's Chief Executive Officer, congratulated the Stormworld cast and crew on their achievement.

"A drama series of this scale and vision that has successfully combined Singaporean cast, crew and post-production technicians with an excellent Australian and Canadian production team demonstrates the importance of joint collaborations that tap on each other's strengths and expertise for a global audience."
